Biography:
Giannis Moralis (1916–2009). Born in Arta, Greece, in 1916, Moralis moved to Athens with his parents in 1927. From the age of 15 he studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Umbertos Argyros and Konstantinos Parthenis. In 1936 he received a grant from this school to study for a year in Rome. After this, he went to Paris to study fresco and mural work at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He also studied mosaic at the École des Arts et Métiers.
When the Second World War broke out in 1939, Moralis returned to Greece. The first exhibition of one of his works was in 1940; numerous other exhibitions followed both nationally and internationally.
From 1947 Moralis taught at the Athens School of Fine Arts until his retirement in 1983. In 1949 he formed, with other artists including Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghikas, Yannis Tsarouchis, Nikos Nikolaou, Nikos Engonopoulos and Panayiotis Tetsis, the “Armos” art group. This group had its first exhibition in 1950 in Athens’ Zappeion.
Moralis died on December 20, 2009 in Athens.
Christina Morali, the award-winning artist who gave another breath to Greek ceramic art, was born in Athens and studied interior design at the “Athenian Technological Institute” (Doxiadis School) with their teachers Dim. and Char. Mytara, G. Georgiadis etc .. She studied Ceramics in England at the “Hammersmith College of Art” in London. During her studies, her work was selected and placed on the exterior wall of a large building in the City of London.
She has made countless solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions, in Greece and abroad. Her emblematic design objects, Papadopoulou’s timber cookies, aspirin, drachma, her award-winning cow in the cow parade, are just some of the works that were loved so much. She is constantly experimenting with new materials and techniques and her work is an inspiration for young artists.

Shipment / Delivery
The shipping of goods is made within three working days after the payment.
For our shipments we use the Greek Post Office (ELTA).
Shipment can also be made with a way of transfer of your choice, but at your own expense.
After the shipment, we will send an e-mail with the details of the shipment and a barcode, so that you can track your parcel.
You can also collect your orders from our store with no shipping cost.
We inform you that objects of art cannot be returned, unless you have received a wrong order, or an object is damaged during shipment.
