Biography:

He was born in Zakynthos in 1956. In 1963 he settled in Athens.

In 1976 he was admitted to the Athens School of Fine Arts, where he was a scholarship holder and studied sculpture with the teachers Giannis Pappas, Thodoros Papagiannis and Giorgos Nikolaidis.

He finished his studies with honors in 1982 and his diploma thesis was honorably exhibited in the halls of ASKT. From 1992 to 1998 he taught sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of Athens, in the laboratory of Th. Papagiannis, as a science expert. ‘

He has been honored with many awards in Greece and abroad. His works are in the ASKT sculpture collection, the National Gallery, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ionas Vorres Museum of Contemporary Art, the Pieridis Gallery, the Goulandris Museum of Modern Art in Andros, the Spiritual Foundation of the National Bank, Telloglio Thessaloniki Museum, Fujimi Outdoor Museum of Modern Art in Japan, as well as in many private collections in Greece and abroad.
