Biography:
The Library of Hadrian was a large library in ancient Athens. It was named so because it was founded by the Roman emperor Hadrian. The library was also called the University of Athens.
Emilios Prosalendis (Corfu 1859 – Athens 1926) was a Greek painter. He was the son of Spyridon Prosalentis, also a painter. He came from a Corfu family of noble origin. The Prosalentis family was one of the noble families in the Golden Book.
He was first apprenticed to his father and later studied engineering in Paris. When he returned to Greece, he enlisted as an engineer in the navy. His painting was initially limited to oil painting, while his works depicted exclusively sea scenes.
In the last years of his life he indulged in watercolor. His main paintings: Battle of the Dardanelles, Exit of Ares from Navarino, Firing of the Turkish flagship at Eresso, etc.
His son was the painter Spyros Prosalendis (1894-1942).

Shipment / Delivery
The shipping of goods is made within three working days after the payment.
For our shipments we use the Greek Post Office (ELTA).
Shipment can also be made with a way of transfer of your choice, but at your own expense.

You can also collect your orders from our store with no shipping cost.
