Biography:
The painter Georgios Kosmadopoulos (Volos, 1895 – Athens, 1967), was a Greek painter. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Germany. His paintings include ethnographic compositions, portraits, landscapes and much more. Georgios Kosmadopoulos signed his works under the acronym “cosm”.
After his death, some of his works are in the Gallery of the Municipality of Athens, in the National Gallery of Greece, in the Gallery of the Municipality of Rhodes. However, many other works by Georgios Kosmadopoulos are in public and private collections.
