Biography:
George Zongolopoulos (Athens, March 1, 1903 – May 11, 2004) was a Greek artist and representative of the generation of the 1930s, with an important and recognized work.
His work spans a period of about eight decades, presenting great variety, broad subject matter and a penchant for constant renewal, which earned him the nickname “the eternal teenager”.
George Zongolopoulos was born on March 1, 1903 in Athens. He grew up in Omonia square while his family came from the village of Mana (formerly Markasi) in Corinth.
He grew up in a family of lawyers who did not encourage him to work professionally in the arts even though he showed a special talent for painting and drawing from childhood.
He served his military service as a sergeant until 1923, and that period was the occasion for his acquaintance with his peer and later important architect Patroklos Karantinos, who became one of his closest friends and collaborators.

Shipment / Delivery
The shipping of goods is made within three working days after the payment.
For our shipments we use the Greek Post Office (ELTA).
Shipment can also be made with a way of transfer of your choice, but at your own expense.
After the shipment, we will send an e-mail with the details of the shipment and a barcode, so that you can track your parcel.
You can also collect your orders from our store with no shipping cost.
We inform you that objects of art cannot be returned, unless you have received a wrong order, or an object is damaged during shipment.
