History:
Otto’s arrival in Greece on January 25, 1833 was accompanied by European support in money, military and administrative forces to stabilize the new state.
Until he came of age, a regency was appointed consisting of the Bavarian officials Armannsberg, Maurer, Heideck, and Abel, who immediately began the reconstruction of the country, but ruled autocratically. Their purpose was to create central government agencies that would exercise power in the name of the King.
They showed active work in all sectors and especially in Justice (drafting of legal codes 1833-1835), Education (establishment of University 1837), Economy (establishment of drachma 1833), Administrative division (division into prefectures and provinces) etc. Otto officially took office in June 1835, but kept the regents in office.
At the beginning of September 1843, after the outbreak of the Revolution of September 3, he was forced to grant a Constitution, remove the Bavarians from their posts and appoint a politician as Prime Minister. He will remain on the throne until 1862, when a new rebellion will occur and he will be forced to leave the country.

Shipment / Delivery
The shipping of goods is made within three working days after the payment.
For our shipments we use the Greek Post Office (ELTA).
