Biography:
Kosmas Stathis was the first gallery owner in Athens, very important in the salons of the time, famous and social while he was a connoisseur of Greek painting. He knew many painters of the time not only because he presented their works but also because he was a representative painter of his time and in fact exceptional.
Kosmas Stathis created very important works and, however, specialized mainly in seascapes and in the presentations of the daily life of the Greek with the sea, the element that he considered to be identical with the Greeks.
Kosmas Stathis was influenced by the works and style of Hatzis and Volanakis. His works adorn public buildings and private collections and are considered “expensive”, hard to find and rare.
Apart from being a painter and gallery owner, he was also a collector, many of whose works have been presented in the museum of the City of Athens, “Eutaxia” and elsewhere.
Kosmas Stathis is considered one of the great Greek painters.

For an immediate payment of your order with no other procedures, you can make your payment through web or online banking. You will insert your order code and the amount, as mentioned in your invoice. Shipment / Delivery
The shipping of goods is made within three working days after the payment.
For our shipments we use the Greek Post Office (ELTA).
Shipment can also be made with a way of transfer of your choice, but at your own expense.
After the shipment, we will send an e-mail with the details of the shipment and a barcode, so that you can track your parcel.
You can also collect your orders from our store with no shipping cost.
We inform you that objects of art cannot be returned, unless you have received a wrong order, or an object is damaged during shipment.
